You may do ANY project you like for your course final project, as long as:
1) You employ Digital Performer
2) Your project fits the criteria for the Northeastern Electronic Music Composition Competition (an annual contest for high school technology-based composition). You do not have to enter this contest, although I encourage you to. The contest deadline is mid-March. Click here for information and application materials.
GRADING
This major project will be worth 125 points. It is a "grade-changer" so don't take it lightly. Nonetheless, the best projects are usually ones on which students enjoy working, so...DO SOMETHING YOU'LL ENJOY!
